Cards on the table, I am having a shocking writing week. On Monday I had a really long day at work but wanted to try and write something so I managed to write 1,035 words which I was happy with.
Then life has gone a bit off course personally so I am having to take a step back from writing for a few days. I saw Nadja's comment earlier on my last post saying that she had checked to see if I had checked in and it made me think I should do a mini check-in even if there is nothing much to say.
I may not be around much for the rest of the week and I will try to catch some of your check-ins. I hope you have all had great weeks and I hope next check-in is a bit better.
Hope everything gets better for you. That is an amazing word count for one day! Hang in there :)
ReplyDeleteNothing beats a decent word count after a tough day. Hang in there! Everything happens for a reason, even if we don't see it. :-)
ReplyDeleteAwesome word count on Monday. Hope things improve, Em. Stay strong :)
ReplyDeleteHope you're ok.
ReplyDeleteSometimes we just can't write - you'll be back on the writing horse next week - especially when you've proved you can do it...over a thousand words after a busy day at work! I need to take a leaf out of your book... Tonight!!!
Aw, I hope everything is OK. Great word count on your busy day, though. It's alright if life gets in the way sometimes and I hope you make it through everything smoothly. You'll get back into it when you can.
ReplyDeleteGreat word count! And I think a lot of us have short updates this week!
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone, still no writing this end but am reading my book for my book club next week so that is some progress even if it is small.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
Good luck! 1000+ words is nothing to sneeze at!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you, and hoping some of your personal challenges are improving. *hug*
ReplyDeleteMy writing definitely comes in spurts. When I try to force it, it doesn't always work. Hang in there.
I, too, have been trying to update even if it's quick. The supportive emails from my fellow ROW 80 participants always make it worthwhile.
